Their success is driven by technical excellence, collaborative teamwork, and a commitment to innovation. As part of their continued expansion into 2025, they are growing their Estimating Department, creating an opening for an experienced Estimator to join their Dublin-based commercial team.

The Role – Estimator

As Estimator, you’ll play a key role in securing high-profile projects across multiple sectors, preparing detailed, accurate, and competitive tenders to ensure the continued success of the business.

Working alongside senior estimators and the pre-construction leadership team, you’ll manage all estimating functions from early feasibility to final submission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and collate detailed, high-quality tender submissions based on drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

  • Source and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations, identifying risks, clarifications, and opportunities.

  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, issuing drawings and scope documents to secure accurate pricing.

  • Maintain tender files and ensure clarity across all cost and scope documentation.

  • Contribute to the development of estimating systems, processes, and databases.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in pre-construction and commercial strategy.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, contractual frameworks, and cost data.


About You
  • 5+ years’ experience in an Estimating role with a main contractor or PQS firm.

  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial acumen.

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Proficiency in Excel, estimating software, and tender management tools.

  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to work both independently and within a team.
