With a live hotel project currently underway in Dublin 8, Co Dublin, they are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to take ownership of the final stages of delivery, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation are achieved before handover.
The Role: Finishing Foreman
This Finishing Foreman position is based on a live hotel development in Dublin 8, Co Dublin. You will be responsible for managing all finishing trades and coordinating the final phases of construction to ensure works are completed to programme and to a high-quality standard.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will work closely with subcontractors, design teams, and project stakeholders to drive quality finishes, manage snagging activities, and ensure a smooth handover process.
Must Have Requirements:
• Must have 5 years' experience as a Finishing Foreman on Irish construction projects
• Proven experience required delivering high-quality fit out, hotel, commercial, or residential finishes
• Experience with a main contractor in Ireland is required
• Strong understanding of quality control, snagging, and project handover processes
• Excellent subcontractor coordination skills required
Preferred Experience
• Hotel or hospitality project experience preferred
• Experience working on high-end fit out projects beneficial
• Strong IT and reporting skills advantageous
Nice to Have
• Trade background
• Construction-related qualification
• First Aid or Safe Pass certification
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate all finishing trades on site during the final phases of the project
• Manage snagging, de-snagging, and quality inspections
• Ensure all finishes meet project specifications and client expectations
• Monitor programme targets and drive completion of outstanding works
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure adequate labour resources are maintained
• Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure smooth project delivery
• Maintain health and safety standards throughout finishing works
• Assist with project handover documentation and completion processes
• Identify and resolve quality issues promptly to avoid programme delays
• Maintain excellent communication with site teams and design consultants
About You
You are an experienced Finishing Foreman with a strong track record delivering quality finishes on hotel, commercial, residential, or fit out projects in Ireland. You understand the importance of attention to detail and take pride in delivering projects to the highest standards.
You are organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple subcontractors while maintaining programme and quality objectives. Your experience working within a live construction environment allows you to identify issues early and ensure successful project completion.
