The Opportunity

The Role

As Finishing Manager, you will take full ownership of the internal and finishing stages of a multi-storey apartment development, ensuring all units are completed to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will coordinate multiple finishing trades, manage snagging and handover processes, and maintain seamless communication between subcontractors, consultants, and the wider site team to deliver a world-class result.


Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades including joinery, painting, tiling, M&E fit-out, and snagging teams.
  
  
• Manage the full finishing programme from shell & core through to client handover.
  
  
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure every element of work meets specifications and design intent.
  
  
• Drive the snagging and de-snagging process, ensuring delivery on time and within quality targets.
  
  
• Liaise with the Project and Site Management teams to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain programme integrity.
  
  
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Quality standards at all times.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to project reporting and completion documentation.
  
  

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Finishing Foreman / Finishing Manager role with a main contractor.
  
  
• Proven experience on large-scale, high-rise residential or mixed-use developments.
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail with a passion for delivering superior finishes.
  
  
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  
  
• Sound technical knowledge of finishing processes, sequencing, and construction quality control.
  
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, snagging tools, and project management software.
  
  
• Thorough understanding of building regulations and compliance standards.
