The Role – Foreman
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will take day-to-day responsibility for site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, on budget, and to a high standard of finish.

This role would suit an experienced Site Manager or Foreman with a solid all-round construction background and a keen eye for quality.


Key Responsibilities Site & Project Delivery

  • Manage daily site operations, labour, and subcontractors.

  • Deliver works in line with contract documents, programme, and quality requirements.

  • Plan, coordinate, and sequence works to avoid rework and delays.

  • Monitor progress and report accurately to the Contracts Manager.

  • Work closely with the Project QS on upcoming issues, variations, and resourcing.

Health & Safety

  • Maintain the highest H&S standards on site in line with legislation and company systems.

  • Ensure all subcontractors work to approved RAMS and ITPs.

  • Deliver daily site briefings and manage interface risks.

  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.

  • Report and investigate incidents in line with company procedures.

  • Support the company’s goal of Zero Harm across all worksites.

Technical & Quality

  • Supervise site engineering and setting-out activities.

  • Ensure all works meet specification and drawing requirements.

  • Manage RFIs, submittals, inspections, and testing records.

  • Coordinate with Engineers, Services Coordinators, and the wider site team.

  • Deliver projects snag-free to client satisfaction.

Client & Team Management

  • Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day client and design team liaison.

  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Manage materials and plant requisitions.

  • Assist with programme reviews and mitigation of potential delays.


About You
  • 5 years’ experience as a Foreman.

  • Strong background across building works (residential, commercial, or public projects).

  • Relevant qualification in Construction or Project Management (advantageous).

  • Strong knowledge of H&S, quality control, and site delivery.

  • IT literate (MS Office, scheduling software).

  • Commercially aware with a strong focus on programme and finish quality.

  • Excellent communicator and people manager.

  • Full, clean driving licence.
