The Company
A well established residential developer is preparing to start a new housing development in Athy, Co. Kildare, with 105 homes planned as part of a growing pipeline of work in the region.
This is a strong opportunity to join a developer with a focus on quality housing, safe delivery and well managed residential construction projects across Leinster.
The Role – Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day to day management of a new residential housing development from site set up through to delivery.
You will oversee site teams, subcontractors, programme, quality, health and safety, ensuring the project is delivered to a high standard and in line with key construction milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily site operations on a residential housing development
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and direct site teams
• Drive programme delivery and short term planning
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with regulations
• Maintain high standards across finishes, quality and workmanship
• Liaise with engineers, design teams and senior management
• Manage site documentation, reporting and progress updates
• Support the smooth handover of completed homes
About You:
• Strong background as a Site Manager on residential construction projects
• Experience delivering housing developments in Ireland
• Trade or construction management background preferred
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, programme and quality control
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Able to manage subcontractors and drive productivity on site
• Focused on deadlines, standards and safe delivery
