The Company
A well regarded building contractor is seeking an experienced Foreman for a 45 unit housing development in Cahir, Tipperary.
This is a strong opportunity to join a busy residential team delivering quality housing projects across Munster, with a steady pipeline of work and a practical, site focused management structure.
The Role
As Foreman, you will oversee day to day site activity on a residential housing development, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
You will coordinate trades, manage subcontractors, drive quality, and support the site team in keeping the project moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily site operations on a housing development
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site labour
• Maintain high standards of health and safety
• Monitor programme, materials and site progress
• Carry out quality checks across all stages of construction
• Report progress to senior site management
• Ensure houses are delivered to specification and agreed deadlines
• Manage snagging and finishing standards where required
About You:
• Experienced Foreman with a residential construction background
• Strong knowledge of housing developments and site coordination
• Trade or construction management background preferred
• Able to manage subcontractors and keep work on programme
• Strong eye for quality, finishes and site presentation
• Practical, organised and confident dealing with site teams
• Based within commuting distance of Cahir, Tipperary
