We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support the safe delivery of mechanical, process and industrial piping projects based out of Co. Mayo.
This role will suit a hands-on safety professional with experience in heavy mechanical installation environments, including pipework, plant installation and industrial construction works.
You will work closely with site management, engineering teams and operatives to ensure high safety standards are embedded across all projects, promoting a strong safety culture on site.

- Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH, GradIOSH or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within mechanical, industrial or construction environments
- Strong understanding of mechanical installation risks including pipework, lifting operations, hot works and confined spaces
- Experience working on industrial, process, pharmaceutical, food, energy or manufacturing projects
- Solid knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation and site compliance requirements
- Strong ability to engage with site teams and promote behavioural safety
- Excellent communication, reporting and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
- Full clean Irish driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required
- Support the implementation and enforcement of health & safety policies across mechanical and process projects
- Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures
- Review and approve RAMS, method statements and safe systems of work
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Monitor high-risk activities including lifting operations, hot works, pressure testing and confined space works
- Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances, preparing reports and corrective actions
- Work closely with project managers, engineers and supervisors to resolve safety issues proactively
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across all sites
- Maintain accurate safety records and support project audits and inspections
