Junior Building Services Quantity Surveyor

You are a highly motivated Junior Building Services Quantity Surveyor looking to join a Tier One contractors dynamic team based in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

Junior Building Services QS Skills:  

• A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Building Services, or a related discipline (or currently pursuing).
• Strong interest in the Building Services sector (Mechanical and Electrical).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and develop within a professional team.

As a Junior Building Services QS:  

• Assist in compiling comprehensive tender packages for various building services projects.
• Issue and manage Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to potential subcontractors and suppliers.
• Proactively chase quotations and follow up with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely responses.
• Assist in the preparation and issuing of tender addendums and clarifications as required.
• Populate and maintain Tender Analysis Templates to support senior QS and commercial teams in decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth tendering processes.
• Support the commercial team in evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotes for compliance and competitiveness.
• Attend meetings and site visits as required to gain exposure to project delivery processes.

The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least to €40,000 plus package.
