You are a Junior Electrical Engineer with a strong academic foundation and early industry experience, looking to develop your career within a growing engineering organisation delivering projects across energy, utilities, renewables and infrastructure sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to work alongside experienced senior engineers and project teams, gaining exposure to electrical design, site activities and project delivery while building strong technical and professional foundations.

Junior Electrical Engineer – Skills & Experience: Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

Up to 2 years’ relevant industry experience, including graduate, placement or early-career roles

Exposure to electrical systems within energy, utilities, construction, industrial or infrastructure environments

Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Eplan or similar engineering software advantageous

Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills

Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of senior engineers

Interest in renewable energy, sustainability and modern electrical technologies

Understanding of BIM workflows and digital engineering tools beneficial

Full driving licence advantageous

As a Junior Electrical Engineer you will: Support senior engineers across electrical design, installation, commissioning and maintenance activities

Assist with the preparation of electrical drawings, layouts, calculations, specifications and technical reports

Contribute to project planning, coordination and technical problem-solving activities

Support compliance with electrical standards, regulations and client requirements

Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, drawings and records

Assist with quality assurance processes and safety compliance

Attend site visits to support surveys, inspections, testing and resolution of technical queries

Actively engage in training, mentoring and continuous professional development

Health, Safety & Quality: Support a strong safety-first culture across all engineering activities

Ensure work is carried out in line with health, safety, environmental and quality standards

Maintain high levels of accuracy, compliance and professionalism
