The Role: Logistics Supervisor
Based on a major data centre project in Dublin, Co Dublin, you will oversee the day-to-day logistics operation, ensuring materials, deliveries, traffic management, and storage areas are coordinated safely and efficiently.
Working closely with the Logistics Manager, site management team, subcontractors, and suppliers, you will play a key role in maintaining programme delivery by ensuring all materials arrive on time and site logistics operate smoothly in a busy live construction environment.
Must Have Requirements:
• Must have experience in a Logistics Supervisor or senior logistics role on large-scale construction projects.
• Proven experience required coordinating site deliveries, material movements, and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures within a live construction environment.
• Experience managing logistics operatives and maintaining delivery records.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
• Previous experience on data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical, or other large-scale construction projects.
• Experience using digital delivery management systems.
• Strong understanding of construction site traffic management.
Nice to Have:
• AP Crane qualification.
• Temporary Works awareness or qualification.
• Manual handling or lifting operations experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the daily operation of site compounds and storage areas.
• Coordinate material deliveries with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure all deliveries follow established site procedures and booking systems.
• Monitor site traffic movements to minimise congestion and maintain safe access.
• Enforce site access procedures and oversee loading and unloading activities.
• Support the Logistics Manager with delivery scheduling and material tracking.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, labour records, and daily reports.
• Attend logistics coordination meetings and communicate requirements to site teams.
• Supervise logistics operatives and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures.
• Identify and resolve logistics, storage, or traffic management issues quickly to minimise programme delays.
About You
You are an organised construction logistics professional who understands the importance of efficient material flow on major projects. You are comfortable managing multiple deliveries each day, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining high safety standards within a fast-moving site environment.
You communicate effectively with site teams and suppliers, remain calm under pressure, and take a proactive approach to solving logistical challenges before they impact programme delivery.
