M&E Coordinator Skills:
- Strong mechanical background with experience in HVAC, pipework, plant and building services systems
- Previous experience in an M&E coordination or Building Services role
- Ability to review mechanical and electrical drawings, specifications and technical submittals
- Experience coordinating services within refurbishment or constrained site environments
- Good understanding of construction sequencing and services installation methodology
- Strong communication skills for liaising with subcontractors, consultants and site teams
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with BIM or coordination models
- Organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
- Coordinate the delivery of mechanical and electrical services in line with the project programme
- Act as the main point of coordination between mechanical and electrical subcontractors and the design team
- Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions to ensure buildability and compliance
- Support the resolution of clashes and coordination issues on site
- Attend and contribute to M&E coordination meetings and design workshops
- Monitor site installations to ensure works align with approved drawings and specifications
- Assist with commissioning planning, inspections and handover documentation
- Support quality control, snagging and close-out of M&E systems
- Liaise closely with the wider site team to ensure smooth integration of services works
