M&E Services Coordinator – Major Building Projects

Are you an experienced M&E Services Coordinator looking to take ownership of the delivery of high-quality projects in Dublin, working closely with site teams, subcontractors and senior management?

Your new role is with a main contractor delivering complex, high-profile projects across the Dublin region. They are now seeking an M&E Services Coordinator to play a key role in coordinating mechanical and electrical packages, driving quality, programme and commercial performance across live projects.

This role would suit someone who is comfortable operating at both site and project level, with strong coordination skills and the confidence to manage subcontractors, close out snags and support project delivery through to final account.

M&E Services Coordinator Skills:

• Strong experience coordinating M&E packages on live construction projects
• Ability to manage design-and-build elements to meet client and programme requirements
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical installations and sequencing
• Strong focus on quality, snag management and project close-out
• Good commercial awareness, including managing variations, retentions and contra charges
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage with site teams, subcontractors and clients
• Strong understanding of health & safety requirements on site
• Electrical background or bias is an advantage

As an M&E Services Coordinator you will:

• Coordinate the delivery of M&E services across allocated projects in the Dublin region
• Support site management teams to ensure M&E packages are delivered on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards
• Manage and monitor subcontractor performance across mechanical and electrical works
• Drive snag-free handovers, agreeing snag lists with the design team and client
• Allocate and manage snag works, including coordination of internal snag teams
• Manage the release of final retentions, ensuring all contra charges are correctly applied
• Assist with dispute resolution and contractual claims where required
• Maintain high health & safety standards across all M&E activities
• Support estimating and pre-construction activities as directed by senior management

The Package:
Salary will be at least €75,000 DOE, plus a strong package including company vehicle, pension, phone and laptop.
