We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead the site delivery of mechanical works on large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects based in the Netherlands.
This is a site-based role with responsibility for overseeing mechanical installation activities, managing subcontractors, coordinating programme and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance are achieved.
You will work closely with project management, commercial and package teams to drive efficient construction delivery from mobilisation through to commissioning and handover.

- Relevant mechanical qualification such as BEng, HNC/HND, NVQ, BTEC or City & Guilds
- Proven experience in a mechanical construction management or site management role
- Background within mechanical or M&E contracting environments
- Experience delivering HVAC, pipework and mechanical plant installations
- Data centre or other mission-critical project experience is advantageous
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, labour management and programme control
- Good commercial awareness with experience supporting valuations, variations and change management
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and compliance requirements on live construction sites
- Excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills
- Full EU work authorisation required
- Manage day-to-day mechanical construction activities on site
- Act as a key point of contact for client and internal project communications relating to mechanical scope
- Prepare and implement method statements and risk assessments for mechanical works
- Coordinate installation sequencing to meet programme milestones and look-ahead schedules
- Manage labour resources to ensure project staffing aligns with programme requirements
- Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring quality standards and safe systems of work are maintained
- Support commercial activities including scope changes, valuations and final account preparation
- Ensure materials and plant delivered to site meet specification and are stored safely and securely
- Monitor progress against programme and escalate delays or variations as required
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site compliance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality and delivery efficiency
