The Role – Mechanical Construction Manager
As a Mechanical Construction Manager, you will take full responsibility for the on-site delivery of mechanical works, leading teams and coordinating subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in site planning, resource allocation, and day-to-day operations, ensuring all mechanical installations are delivered efficiently and in line with project requirements.

The Role – Mechanical Construction Manager
As a Mechanical Construction Manager, you will take full responsibility for the on-site delivery of mechanical works, leading teams and coordinating subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in site planning, resource allocation, and day-to-day operations, ensuring all mechanical installations are delivered efficiently and in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical site teams, including direct labour and subcontractors
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and company EHS procedures on site
- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly site activities in line with project programme
- Monitor progress against programme and drive productivity to meet key milestones
- Oversee quality control of mechanical installations, ensuring works meet specifications
- Coordinate materials, plant, and equipment to ensure efficient site operations
- Liaise with Project Manager, engineers, and client representatives on progress and issues
- Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates, and documentation
- Identify and resolve on-site challenges to maintain programme and quality targets
- Strong background in mechanical services within construction or industrial projects
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a site management or construction management role
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors on complex projects
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical installations, site operations, and sequencing
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance
- Highly organised with strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver projects to tight deadlines
- Detail-focused with a strong commitment to quality and project delivery
