Are you a Mechanical Project Manager looking to work on large-scale data centre projects across Europe, based on-site in Eskilstuna, Sweden?
This is a senior delivery role, suited to an experienced Mechanical Project Manager who can take full ownership of the mechanical scope on complex, high-value data centre builds, with responsibility for cost, programme, quality and safety.
You’ll work closely with package managers, commercial teams, site management and subcontractors to ensure the mechanical works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget from construction through to handover.

Mechanical Project Manager Skills:
- Strong background in mechanical building services within data centre or large-scale industrial projects
- Proven experience managing mechanical scope on complex construction projects
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, variations and valuations
- Experience analysing and managing project programmes and critical milestones
- Strong knowledge of subcontractor management, procurement and material tracking
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership capability with a focus on quality, health, safety and environmental performance
- Experience delivering Data Centre projects is essential
- Manage the full mechanical scope of works with responsibility for cost, programme and budget
- Analyse, track and manage critical milestone activities to prevent schedule delays
- Review construction proposals, scopes of work and associated pricing
- Manage all costs associated with the mechanical scope, including direct labour, subcontractors, materials, plant and equipment
- Plan and coordinate day-to-day site operations in conjunction with package managers
- Manage subcontractor activities, monitoring progress, manpower levels and programme compliance
- Support and manage snagging and punch list closeout in line with project requirements
- Issue direct labour and subcontractor hours for central time tracking
- Attend site meetings, project reviews, engineering reviews, coordination and handover meetings
- Track material deliveries in line with the project programme
- Hold weekly commercial meetings to ensure variations are captured and costs issued appropriately
- Produce and issue weekly internal progress reports highlighting progress, risks and constraints
- Support site safety management and drive a strong Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental culture
- Manage change control processes to ensure cost and programme impacts are controlled
- Support full project closeout including final accounts, O&M manuals, QA files, safety files and handover documentation
