Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager Data Centre Projects
Location: Eskilstuna, Sweden

The Role Mechanical Project Manager
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take full ownership of the mechanical package on a major data centre project in Eskilstuna. This is a senior leadership role where you will drive programme delivery, manage costs, and ensure all mechanical systems are installed, tested and handed over to the highest standard.
You will play a critical role in coordinating site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety and programme performance across all phases of construction through to commissioning and handover.

You will play a critical role in coordinating site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety and programme performance across all phases of construction through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of mechanical project delivery across programme, cost and quality
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety standards across all site activities
- Manage project programme, sequencing and critical milestones to avoid delays
- Oversee subcontractor performance, manpower levels and progress against programme
- Control mechanical project costs including labour, materials, procurement and variations
- Coordinate closely with package managers, site teams and commercial departments
- Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions for buildability and accuracy
- Monitor and track material procurement and deliveries in line with project timelines
- Chair weekly commercial and progress meetings, ensuring accurate reporting of costs and variations
- Produce detailed progress reports highlighting risks, constraints and mitigation strategies
- Manage snagging, commissioning support and full mechanical handover process
- Drive a strong quality culture through inspections, QA processes and documentation control
- Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders
- Proven background as a Mechanical Project Manager on large-scale construction or data centre projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services including HVAC, pipework and plant systems
- Demonstrated experience managing full mechanical packages from construction through to handover
- Excellent commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, variations and reporting
- Strong programme management skills with the ability to track and drive key milestones
- Experienced in subcontractor management, procurement and site coordination
- Effective communicator with strong leadership and stakeholder management ability
- Detail-focused with a commitment to quality, safety and timely project delivery
- Data centre project experience is essential
