This specialist electrical infrastructure contractor delivers medium and high-voltage projects across Ireland and the UK within the utilities, renewable energy and power infrastructure sectors.
The business has built a strong reputation for delivering technically demanding HV infrastructure works including substations, battery energy storage systems, renewable energy connections, industrial electrical projects and transmission infrastructure.
With a growing pipeline of grid connection and energy infrastructure projects across Ireland, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of major electrical infrastructure projects nationwide.
The Role: Project Manager – High Voltage / Electrical Infrastructure
This Project Manager role will take full responsibility for the delivery of HV and electrical infrastructure projects from early-stage planning through to commissioning and final handover.
You will work closely with engineering teams, subcontractors, utility providers, clients and site management teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget while maintaining high technical and quality standards.
The role will involve managing multiple live projects across Ireland including substations, renewable energy developments, battery energy storage systems, grid infrastructure and industrial electrical installations.
You will play a key role in programme delivery, commercial performance, client coordination and technical oversight across complex energy infrastructure projects.
Must Have Requirements
You will come from a utilities, renewable energy or electrical infrastructure background with strong experience managing technically complex projects in live environments.
You will be commercially aware, organised and confident managing programme delivery across multiple projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients, engineers and subcontractors.
The successful Project Manager will have a practical understanding of HV infrastructure, substations and utility projects within the Irish market and will be comfortable leading teams across all stages of project delivery.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager within utilities, HV infrastructure, renewable energy or electrical engineering projects
- Strong understanding of HV/MV substations, grid infrastructure and electrical systems is required
- Proven experience delivering utility, renewable energy or grid connection projects
- Experience managing subcontractors, programme delivery and commercial performance on live projects
- Full driving licence required
- Experience working within ESB, EirGrid or utility frameworks preferred
- Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project experience beneficial
- Renewable energy infrastructure experience advantageous
- Strong contractual and commercial awareness preferred
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- Safe Pass, SMSTS, PMP or equivalent certifications
- Commissioning and energisation experience beneficial
- Background working with specialist electrical contractors
- Manage the full lifecycle delivery of HV and electrical infrastructure projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal delivery teams
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
- Oversee programme management, reporting and resource planning
- Chair client progress meetings and stakeholder coordination meetings
- Monitor commercial performance, project costs and procurement schedules
- Ensure compliance with all HSE, quality and technical standards
- Liaise with engineering and design teams regarding technical requirements
- Identify and manage project risks throughout delivery
- Support commissioning, energisation and project handover activities
- Maintain strong communication with utility providers, clients and site teams
