We are seeking a skilled MEICA Project Engineer to join a leading engineering and construction team in Kildare.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on complex electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation projects across industrial, energy, and commercial sectors.

As a MEICA Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems, while managing subcontractors, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and programme requirements.

This is a permanent, full-time role offering excellent career progression and exposure to technically challenging projects.

MEICA Project Engineer Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent diploma plus relevant experience
  • 1–5 years’ post-graduate experience in electrical, instrumentation, or automation projects
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong people and stakeholder management skills
  • Full, clean Irish/EU driving licence
  • Must be authorised to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available)
As a MEICA Project Engineer:
  • Carry out design reviews to ensure EICA design meets project requirements
  • Oversee daily electrical activities on site, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and design drawings
  • Manage installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and low voltage installations
  • Implement quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and address non-conformities
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations on site
  • Coordinate with other disciplines, project managers, engineers, and stakeholders
  • Assist in site investigations, project planning, and design reviews
  • Engage and manage subcontractors, including scope development and performance monitoring
  • ???????Maintain accurate records and project documentation
The Package: Salary of at least €65000 DOE plus benefits, career progression, and exposure to complex industrial and energy projects.
