This is an opportunity to join a well established international contractor delivering high value MEP construction projects across The Netherlands and wider Europe. Operating across data centres, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical and large scale commercial developments, the business has built a strong reputation for technical excellence, programme certainty and uncompromising safety standards.
With a significant European project pipeline and multiple live sites, they are seeking a senior Construction Manager with a strong MEP background to lead complex engineering projects and drive consistent standards across several locations.
The Role Construction Manager
As Construction Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the delivery of multiple live MEP construction projects from mobilisation through to completion. This is a senior leadership position overseeing Project Managers, Site Managers and multidisciplinary site teams across several European locations.
You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, to programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with commercial teams, clients and senior leadership, you will drive performance, resolve challenges and maintain strong operational control across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the delivery of multiple MEP construction projects across The Netherlands and Europe
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Site Managers and wider construction teams
• Coordinate electrical and mechanical works across complex, high value engineering projects
• Monitor programme performance, productivity and cost control across all sites
• Maintain full oversight of budgets, risk management and commercial performance
• Ensure compliance with contractual, technical and regulatory requirements
• Champion a strong health and safety culture across all live projects
• Drive quality assurance, inspection processes and documentation standards
• Manage labour resources, subcontractors and site logistics to optimise efficiency
• Support project teams in resolving technical, programme and commercial issues
• Provide regular project reporting and performance updates to senior management
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders
About You
• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Minimum five years’ experience in a Construction Manager or senior site leadership role
• Strong background delivering MEP construction projects, electrical and or mechanical
• Proven experience managing multiple sites and complex engineering builds
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate large multidisciplinary teams
• Strong commercial awareness with experience overseeing project budgets and performance
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, logistics and European site coordination
• Strong knowledge of quality, safety and regulatory compliance within European construction
• Confident communicator with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Eligible to work within Europe and willing to travel regularly between project locations
