This well-established Irish engineering contractor has built a strong reputation delivering complex mechanical and electrical projects across Ireland and mainland Europe. With a significant pipeline of data centre, pharmaceutical and industrial developments, they continue to secure major projects with some of the world's largest technology and infrastructure clients.
Their Denmark operations are expanding rapidly, with a large-scale data centre project in Fredericia offering long-term work, structured career progression, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced construction, engineering and commissioning professionals.
The Role: MEP Coordinator
Based in Fredericia, Denmark, you will play a key role in coordinating Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health services across a major data centre project.
As MEP Coordinator, you will bridge the gap between design, installation and commissioning, ensuring technical information is coordinated correctly and site activities progress safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
You will work closely with construction managers, design teams, subcontractors, QA/QC personnel and commissioning teams to ensure all MEP systems are delivered to the highest standards.
Must Have Requirements
You will have a strong background in building services coordination on large-scale construction projects and understand how mechanical and electrical systems integrate within a complex project environment.
You are organised, technically strong and capable of managing multiple interfaces between design, construction and commissioning teams. You enjoy solving coordination challenges, maintaining quality standards and driving programme delivery on fast-moving projects.
Experience on data centre construction projects in Denmark or across Europe would be highly advantageous.

Must Have Requirements
- Proven experience as an MEP Coordinator, MEP Engineer or Building Services Engineer on major construction projects
- Experience working on data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, semiconductor or other technically complex projects
- Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical building services systems
- Proven ability to coordinate technical drawings, specifications and subcontractor activities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Data centre project experience preferred
- Experience supporting commissioning and QA/QC activities
- Knowledge of BIM coordination processes and digital construction platforms
- European project experience beneficial
- Degree qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Experience with commissioning management systems
- Additional health and safety qualifications
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation activities across multiple work packages
- Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals for buildability and compliance
- Manage RFIs and technical queries, ensuring timely resolution
- Support QA/QC inspections and quality management processes
- Coordinate closely with CSA, Mechanical, Electrical and Commissioning teams
- Monitor installation progress against programme milestone
- Identify technical risks and implement solutions before they impact delivery
- Attend coordination meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout installation and commissioning
- Assist with system handovers and project close-out activities
