You are a strong Project Engineer with experience in Civils / MEICA projects, within the water and wastewater sector where you will be supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure works, working closely with the Project Manager, design teams, and site teams to ensure every aspect of the project runs smoothly based out of Co Kidlare.
You’ll be involved from early planning stages through to final handover, helping to deliver safe, high-quality, and commercially successful projects.

Project Engineer Skills:
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in water/wastewater or related infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of design and operational processes for water and wastewater systems.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and liaise confidently with clients and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with MS Project is an advantage.
- Full clean Irish/UK/EU driving licence and the right to work in Ireland.
As a Project Engineer:
- Assist in managing the delivery of build-only and design & build projects in the water and wastewater sector.
- Work alongside multidisciplinary teams including civil, process, mechanical, electrical, ICA, H&S, and BIM specialists.
- Support the preparation and coordination of project documentation, designs, and schedules.
- Monitor project progress, reporting regularly to the Project Manager and senior team.
- Contribute to maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Help identify and address potential risks, delays, or scope changes early.
- Support the development of detailed project programmes and resource plans.
- Ensure all works are carried out to the highest safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities and manage technical queries.
