We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Mayo-based team, where you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring delivery to agreed specifications, budgets, and timelines. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while driving project excellence.

Project Manager Skills:
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in project management within the mechanical, electrical, or construction sectors.
  • Strong track record of delivering projects in healthcare, commercial, or industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, or similar).
  • Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar), as well as MS Office.
  • Understanding of BIM processes and digital construction tools an advantage.
  • Valid Safe Pass and relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, IOSH/NEBOSH) desirable.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to manage budgets and contractual obligations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.

As a Project Manager:
  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to handover.
  • Develop and implement detailed project programmes, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate and oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor progress against programme, addressing deviations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage procurement processes, contract administration, and variation control.
  • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, cost updates, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure all works are executed to the highest technical and quality standards.
  • Lead project teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a collaborative, solution-focused culture


The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least €80,000 plus package.
