Project Manager Skills:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in project management within the mechanical, electrical, or construction sectors.
- Strong track record of delivering projects in healthcare, commercial, or industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, or similar).
- Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar), as well as MS Office.
- Understanding of BIM processes and digital construction tools an advantage.
- Valid Safe Pass and relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, IOSH/NEBOSH) desirable.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to manage budgets and contractual obligations.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
As a Project Manager:
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to handover.
- Develop and implement detailed project programmes, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate and oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Monitor progress against programme, addressing deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage procurement processes, contract administration, and variation control.
- Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, cost updates, and performance reviews.
- Ensure all works are executed to the highest technical and quality standards.
- Lead project teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a collaborative, solution-focused culture
