The Role – Project Manager
As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of project delivery from early pre-construction through to handover. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, drive programme and commercial performance, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a key role for a technically strong, commercially aware Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced main contracting environment.

The Role – Project Manager
As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of project delivery from early pre-construction through to handover. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, drive programme and commercial performance, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a key role for a technically strong, commercially aware Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced main contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage overall project programme, sequencing and logistics plans.
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure timely release of information and resolution of technical queries.
- Chair design, coordination and subcontractor meetings as required.
- Implement project controls including progress tracking, reporting and risk management.
- Lead site delivery ensuring efficient sequencing of works and compliance with specifications.
- Ensure projects are executed in line with contract documents, statutory requirements, BCAR and best practice.
- Work closely with commercial teams on cost control, forecasting and value management.
- Lead procurement of subcontractors and materials, including tender reviews and package negotiations.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Act as primary point of contact for clients, consultants and regulatory bodies.
- Provide accurate progress reports, KPI updates and performance summaries.
- Mentor, motivate and develop site managers, engineers and support staff.
- Promote a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
About You
- 5–10 years’ experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor.
- Proven track record delivering medium-to-large projects (€10m–€150m ).
- Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of modern construction methods and Irish Building Regulations.
- Solid commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, contracts and procurement.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong programme, risk and time management capability.
- Proficient in project management and reporting software.
- Calm under pressure with a solutions-driven approach.
