The Role: Project Manager
This Project Manager position in Galway will involve taking responsibility for the delivery of a multi million euro hotel construction project, overseeing all aspects of programme, site operations, subcontractor coordination, quality and health and safety.
You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, commercial team, design consultants and site management team to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
The hotel development will involve a high standard of internal finishes, complex building services coordination and detailed handover requirements.
Must Have Requirements
Preferred Experience
You will be an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in main contracting and a proven ability to deliver large scale building projects.
You will be comfortable managing site teams, dealing with subcontractors and working closely with senior management to keep projects moving.
Strong programme management, commercial awareness and attention to detail are essential, particularly given the quality of finishes and coordination required on hotel developments.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 7+ years' experience in construction management, including proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor.
- Proven experience delivering large scale commercial, hotel, residential or similar building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor management and programme delivery.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary site teams and coordinating with design and commercial teams.
Preferred Experience
- Previous hotel or hospitality construction experience would be beneficial.
- Experience managing high specification fit out and finishing works.
- Familiarity with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar construction management software.
- Manage the overall delivery of the hotel construction project from site operations through to completion and handover.
- Coordinate site management teams, subcontractors and specialist contractors to maintain programme progress.
- Work closely with the Contracts Manager to monitor project milestones, resources and delivery targets.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety across all construction activities.
- Oversee quality control, inspections and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate design information, technical queries and building services installations.
- Manage project meetings, progress reporting and communication with client representatives.
- Work alongside the commercial team to monitor project costs, variations and subcontractor performance.
- Oversee internal finishes, snagging and final handover to ensure the required hotel standards are achieved.
