The Role - Project Manager
As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of a pharmaceutical construction project in Cork, overseeing delivery from early stages through to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards expected within regulated pharma environments.
You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and work closely with clients and consultants to maintain progress and resolve challenges. This is a key leadership role where your ability to manage programme, quality, and stakeholder relationships will directly impact project success.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all aspects of project delivery on a pharma construction project
• Maintain strict health and safety standards across all site activities
• Manage project programme, sequencing, and key milestones
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure performance aligns with project requirements
• Oversee quality control, particularly within regulated and cleanroom environments
• Manage project reporting, documentation, and progress updates
• Liaise with clients, design teams, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication
• Drive project completion in line with budget and programme targets
About You
• Proven experience as a Project Manager on pharmaceutical, industrial, or large-scale construction projects
• Background with a main contractor delivering complex builds
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, planning, and delivery
• Experience working in regulated environments such as pharma or healthcare is highly desirable
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong focus on quality, safety, and meeting deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project outcomes
