The Role: Project Manager
As Project Manager you will take full responsibility for the delivery of a residential housing development in Galway. You will lead the site team, coordinate subcontractors and ensure that all construction activities are delivered safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
This is a key leadership role within the project team where you will manage programme delivery, oversee subcontractor performance and ensure that the project meets all commercial, quality and health and safety targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full delivery of a residential housing development from construction through to completion
• Manage site teams including Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors
• Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations on site
• Monitor project programme and ensure milestones are achieved
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and maintain strong working relationships
• Manage project budgets and report regularly on progress and performance
• Ensure all works meet required quality standards and specifications
• Liaise with clients, consultants and senior management throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports and records
About You:
• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
• Several years experience working as a Project Manager with a main contractor
• Strong experience delivering residential construction or housing developments
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, planning and cost control
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong communication
• Highly organised with a strong focus on quality and meeting project deadlines
