They are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a school construction project in South Dublin.
The Role: Project Manager
This is a senior Project Manager position with responsibility for the successful delivery of a school construction project in South Dublin, from construction through to completion and handover.
You will take ownership of programme delivery, subcontractor coordination, quality control, health and safety and overall project performance.
Working closely with the Contracts Manager, Site Manager, commercial team and design consultants, you will ensure the project is delivered safely, within budget and to the required specification.
The position will suit an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong main contractor background who is confident managing building projects and driving progress across all stages of construction.

You are an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Irish main contracting and a proven ability to deliver building projects safely, on time and within budget.

You will have strong technical construction knowledge, excellent communication skills and the confidence to lead a project team while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
Previous experience on school construction projects would be particularly beneficial.

The Role: Project Manager

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 7+ years' experience in construction project management, including experience delivering projects in Ireland.
- Proven experience managing large scale building projects with an Irish main contractor is required.
- Strong knowledge of construction programming, subcontractor management, health and safety and quality control.
- Experience managing projects from construction through to completion and handover.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience delivering school, education or public sector construction projects.
- Experience working with RC frame, structural steel, building envelope and internal fit out packages.
- Strong understanding of Irish building regulations and BCAR compliance.
- Experience using MS Project, Procore, Dalux or similar construction management software.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the school construction project in South Dublin.
- Manage the construction programme, ensuring all key milestones and completion dates are achieved.
- Coordinate Site Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and specialist contractors to maintain progress on site.
- Ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained throughout the project.
- Oversee quality control, inspections and compliance with drawings, specifications and building regulations.
- Work closely with the commercial team to monitor project costs, variations, procurement and subcontractor performance.
- Chair regular site meetings and provide progress reports to the Contracts Manager and senior management.
- Coordinate design information, technical queries and subcontractor requirements to avoid delays.
- Manage project logistics, labour resources, materials and procurement schedules.
- Liaise with the client, design team and relevant stakeholders throughout the project.
- Oversee snagging, commissioning, certification and final handover.
