Based in Dublin, this role is ideal for a motivated professional with M&E experience looking to play a key role in the commercial success of projects from tender through to final account.

Quantity Surveyor Skills:
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably within the mechanical and/or electrical contracting sector.
- Sound knowledge of M&E systems, subcontractor management, and commercial processes.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software (e.g., Cubit, CostX, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of Irish construction contracts and commercial procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
As a Quantity Surveyor:
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities for M&E works.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes, ensuring alignment with project budgets.
- Monitor project costs, identify variations, and provide accurate cost reporting to senior management.
- Assist with monthly valuations, progress claims, and interim/final accounts.
- Liaise with site teams, engineers, and procurement to manage budgets effectively.
- Prepare and submit cost plans, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports.
- Track project profitability, mitigate commercial risks, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure all contractual and commercial obligations are fulfilled.
