Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre Project
Location: Brussels, Belgium.
Irish Main Contractor delivering large scale Data Centre projects across Europe

This is an opportunity to join a well established Irish Main Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex Data Centre and mission critical projects across Europe. The Role – Quantity Surveyor
The successful Quantity Surveyor will join a commercial team working on a major Data Centre project in Belgium. You will play a key role in the commercial management of the project from procurement through to final account, ensuring costs are controlled while maintaining programme and quality objectives.
This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor with experience in Data Centres, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Mission Critical, or large scale Commercial projects who is looking to progress their career on technically challenging international projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and account administration
• Preparing valuations, variations, and cost reports throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitoring project costs and identifying opportunities for commercial improvement
• Assisting with forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager on project delivery
• Ensuring contractual compliance and effective risk management
• Liaising with site management teams, design teams, and subcontractors
• Assisting with final accounts and project close out procedures
• Maintaining strong commercial controls across programme delivery
About You:
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
• 2 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
• Experience on Data Centre, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Mission Critical, or Commercial projects is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Ambitious, organised, and motivated to progress within a leading contractor
• Ability to work effectively within a fast paced project environment
