The Role: Quantity Surveyor

This Quantity Surveyor role is based in Co Mayo and will see you take responsibility for the commercial management of mechanical services projects from procurement through to final account.

Working closely with the commercial, project management and engineering teams, you will manage project costs, subcontractor accounts, valuations and variations while maintaining accurate commercial reporting.

About You

You will have a Quantity Surveying background within construction, ideally with experience across mechanical, M&E or building services packages.

You should be commercially sharp, comfortable dealing with subcontractors and suppliers, and able to work closely with Project Managers and engineers. A practical understanding of how mechanical packages are procured, installed and commercially managed would be particularly valuable.

You will need strong attention to detail and the ability to manage valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts while keeping commercial information accurate and up to date.

What’s on Offer

Salary: Up to  €75,000 DOE

Benefits:

  • Long term position in Co Mayo
  • Strong pipeline of mechanical services projects
  • Career progression within the commercial team
  • Exposure to technically detailed mechanical packages
  • Further package benefits dependent on experience
Why Apply?

This is a strong option for a Quantity Surveyor who wants to build their career within mechanical services while remaining based in Co Mayo.

You will have meaningful commercial responsibility rather than simply supporting a large QS team, with exposure to projects from procurement and cost planning through to variations and final account. With projects across Ireland, the UK and Germany, there is also good exposure to a wider international project pipeline.
