Job title: Regional Lead – Leinster & Europe
Location: Co Westmeath
Company: Specialist Engineering Contractor
Package: Up to €125,000 DOE + car allowance, bonus, pension & healthcare
The Company
This specialist engineering contractor delivers complex engineering packages across major construction projects throughout Ireland and Europe.
Operating from Co Westmeath, the business has a growing portfolio of projects across Leinster and key European markets. Continued growth has created a requirement for an experienced Regional Lead to take responsibility for project delivery, operational performance and teams across both regions.
The Role: Regional Lead
As Regional Lead, you will take senior responsibility for the delivery and performance of engineering projects across Leinster and Europe.
Based from Co Westmeath with regular travel to projects, you will oversee Contracts Managers, Project Managers, Engineers and site teams, ensuring projects have the right resources and management structures in place to deliver safely, commercially and to programme.
You will work closely with senior management and the commercial team, providing oversight across live projects while supporting future workload planning, recruitment, client relationships and regional growth.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced construction or engineering professional who has progressed into senior project, contracts or operational management.
You will have a strong understanding of how multiple live projects need to be resourced and managed, with the commercial awareness to recognise problems early and the experience to support project teams in resolving them.
This role requires someone who can operate at senior management level while remaining close enough to live projects to understand programme, site and client issues.
Experience within mechanical engineering, building services or specialist contracting would be particularly relevant. Previous European project experience would also be beneficial given the regional remit.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have senior management experience within engineering, construction or specialist contracting
- Proven experience required managing multiple projects and project teams
- Strong commercial, programme and operational management experience is required
- Must be comfortable managing projects across different locations with regular travel to European sites
- Proven client management and team leadership experience required
- Mechanical, building services or specialist engineering background preferred
- Experience managing projects across Ireland and mainland Europe beneficial
- Previous responsibility for Contracts Managers and Project Managers
- Experience within technically demanding construction sectors beneficial
- Take overall responsibility for project delivery across Leinster and Europe
- Lead Contracts Managers, Project Managers, Engineers and regional project teams
- Review project programmes, resources, procurement and delivery performance
- Work closely with commercial teams to monitor project financial performance
- Maintain senior-level relationships with key clients and project stakeholders
- Identify programme, commercial and operational risks across live contracts
- Support resource planning and recruitment in line with the project pipeline
- Visit projects regularly to review progress, quality, safety and delivery
- Report regional performance and project forecasts to senior management
