Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer to take a key position on a large scale civil infrastructure project in Co. Wexford with one of Ireland and Europe’s leading Tier 1 Main Contractors.
The role offers the chance to work on a technically varied transport project, with engineering exposure across roadworks, structures, earthworks, drainage, utilities, pavement construction
and associated infrastructure.
Rather than being purely focused on setting out, you’ll work closely with the Project Manager and Site Agent, help coordinate junior engineers and subcontractors, resolve technical issues and play an important role in keeping works progressing safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take a leading role in the engineering delivery of a major road and civil infrastructure project, including mentoring junior engineers.
- Coordinate setting out and surveying activities, ensuring works are delivered accurately and in accordance with design requirements.
- Assist with RAMS, site inspections and the implementation of the contractor’s health, safety and environmental standards.
- Monitor daily progress against programme, identifying potential construction risks, delays and opportunities to improve productivity.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience working as a Site Engineer in Ireland.
- Strong experience across roads, infrastructure, earthworks, drainage and utilities.
- Strong technical knowledge ability to interpret drawings and design information.
