Job title: Senior Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre Fit Out
Location: Dublin, Co Dublin with monthly travel to Austria

Package: €75,000 to €85,000 + company bonus + vehicle / vehicle allowance package

This specialist contractor has a strong track record delivering technically demanding data centre and mission critical projects across Ireland and Europe.
With a growing European project pipeline, they are strengthening their Dublin based commercial team. The role offers exposure to major data centre projects while remaining primarily based in Dublin, with monthly travel to Austria.
The Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take a key commercial role across data centre projects, working from Dublin with monthly travel to the project in Austria.
You will be responsible for cost control, subcontractor management, procurement, valuations, variations and commercial reporting, working closely with the project delivery and commercial teams to protect margin and maintain strong financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

About You
You will be an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong commercial background in construction, ideally gained across data centres, fit out, MEP or other technically demanding projects.
You should be comfortable managing significant subcontractor packages, dealing with variations and maintaining accurate cost reporting. Strong communication and negotiation skills are important, along with the ability to work effectively with both commercial and site teams.

You will be responsible for cost control, subcontractor management, procurement, valuations, variations and commercial reporting, working closely with the project delivery and commercial teams to protect margin and maintain strong financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
Must Have Requirements:
- Must have 5+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor position
- Proven experience required on large scale construction, fit out, MEP or data centre projects
- Strong commercial experience across subcontractor accounts, variations and cost reporting
- Must be comfortable with monthly travel from Dublin to Austria
- Data centre or mission critical project experience preferred
- European construction experience beneficial
- Fit out or specialist contracting experience advantageous
- Strong understanding of subcontractor procurement and commercial management
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial performance of assigned data centre packages
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and regular cost reports
- Manage subcontractor procurement, appointments and accounts
- Assess valuations, variations and change control
- Prepare and agree interim applications and final accounts
- Monitor project costs against budget and identify commercial risks
- Work closely with project managers and site teams on programme and cost matters
- Maintain accurate commercial records and supporting documentation
- Support contract administration and ensure contractual requirements are followed
- Attend project and commercial meetings in Dublin and Austria as required
