Overview:
Join a highly respected Irish Civil Engineering Contractor delivering a major road and infrastructure project in County Kerry.
This is a long term position on a significant civil engineering scheme with approximately 2 years of work ahead, involving extensive road construction, earthworks, drainage, pavement and all other associated infrastructure works.
The company is a long established contractor with 40+ years of experience working on complex infrastructure projects throughout Ireland across roads, bridges, earthworks, drainage, water, marine and public infrastructure.
They have a strong reputation for engineering excellence and operate with significant in house engineering, direct labour, plant and technical capability, giving their engineers excellent exposure to the delivery of major civil engineering projects.
They promote a collaborative site environment where engineers are trusted to take ownership of their work and are encouraged to develop into more senior engineering and management positions.

Responsibilities:
- Carry out accurate setting out for roadworks, earthworks, drainage, pavement and associated civil engineering works in accordance with drawings.
- Carry out surveys and provide accurate level control to site teams, ensuring works are constructed to the required line, level and specification.
- Manage site survey data including uploading, downloading and maintaining setting out information and digital site records.
- Complete as-built surveys and maintain accurate as-built information throughout the works.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience working as a Setting Out Engineer/Land Surveyor.
- Strong setting out/surveying experience, ideally gained on road or infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing survey data, level control and as built records.
