The Role – Site Engineer
As a Site Engineer, you will support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Galway. You will be involved in supervising civil and MEICA works on site, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
This is a hands on site based role offering strong exposure to project delivery, subcontractor coordination, and technical support. You will work closely with the wider project team to ensure successful delivery from contract award through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €55,000 – €70,000 (DOE)

The Role – Site Engineer
As a Site Engineer, you will support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Galway. You will be involved in supervising civil and MEICA works on site, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
This is a hands on site based role offering strong exposure to project delivery, subcontractor coordination, and technical support. You will work closely with the wider project team to ensure successful delivery from contract award through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise site works across civil and M&E activities, ensuring compliance with project quality standards and safety procedures
- Manage Health and Safety documentation and enforce safe working practices on site
- Coordinate site labour and subcontractors, ensuring works are planned and delivered to programme
- Support procurement of labour, materials, and plant in line with project requirements
- Develop and manage project timelines from award through to handover
- Prepare engineering reports, method statements, commissioning schedules, and as built documentation
- Participate in design reviews and assist in resolving technical challenges on site
- Maintain accurate site records and support the commercial team with cost tracking and reporting
- Degree qualified in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a Site Engineer or project coordination role within construction or infrastructure
- Experience in water, wastewater, MEICA, or utilities projects is advantageous
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, specifications, and regulations
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Organised with the ability to manage deadlines and site priorities
- Full driving licence
Salary: €55,000 – €70,000 (DOE)
