The Role: Site Manager
This Site Manager position will involve overseeing the day to day construction activities on a €20 million school project in Co Kildare.
Working closely with the Project Manager, engineers and subcontractors, you will be responsible for ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
The role will suit a Site Manager with strong main contractor experience who is confident managing subcontractors, coordinating site activities and maintaining progress across a large scale building project.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 5+ years' experience in site management on Irish construction projects.
- Proven experience working with a main contractor on large scale building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination and programme delivery.
- Experience managing health and safety, quality control and daily site operations.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience delivering education, school or public sector construction projects.
- Experience working on projects valued at €10 million or above.
- Familiarity with Procore, Dalux or similar construction management software.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations to ensure works progress in line with the construction programme.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site personnel across all stages of construction.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout the project.
- Oversee quality control, inspections and compliance with project specifications.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and engineering team to resolve technical and site issues.
- Monitor labour, materials, plant and site logistics to maintain productivity.
- Coordinate construction activities, including structural works, building envelope, internal fit out and finishes.
- Attend site meetings and provide regular updates on programme progress.
- Manage snagging, quality finishes and preparation for project handover.
