The Role – Site Manager
This is a key Site Manager position on a commercial construction project in Meath. You will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and work closely with the Project Manager to drive programme performance and maintain excellent standards across all phases of the build.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all on-site construction activities from groundworks through to completion
• Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety standards and company procedures
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to programme
• Monitor quality control and ensure all works meet specification
• Manage site logistics, materials, and labour resources effectively
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
• Liaise with clients, design teams, and stakeholders on progress and issues
• Drive programme performance and resolve delays or challenges proactively
About You
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects
• Strong background with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and meet tight deadlines
• Highly organised with a strong focus on quality and safety
• Trade or construction management background preferred
