Job title: Site Manager – Healthcare Project
Location: Longford, Co Longford
Company: Main Contractor delivering healthcare and public sector projects
Package: €80,000 to €85,000 + vehicle or vehicle allowance + fuel
The Company
This main contractor has a strong track record delivering healthcare, public sector and commercial construction projects across Ireland.
They are currently progressing a 44-bed nursing home development in Longford and are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of the internal works package through to completion.
The Role: Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will manage the internal works on this 44-bed nursing home project in Longford, coordinating first-fix works, internal trades and finishes through to handover.
You will work closely with the wider project team and subcontractors to maintain programme, quality and Health & Safety standards throughout the internal construction phase.

About You
You will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in building projects and hands-on experience managing internal works through first fix, fit out and final finishes.
You should be confident coordinating several subcontractors at once, maintaining quality standards and driving works to programme. Healthcare experience would be particularly beneficial for this Site Manager position.

The Role: Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will manage the internal works on this 44-bed nursing home project in Longford, coordinating first-fix works, internal trades and finishes through to handover.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 10 years’ relevant construction experience
- Proven experience required managing internal works and multiple subcontractors
- Strong experience delivering projects through fit out and completion stages
- Experience working within a main contractor environment is required
Preferred Experience
- Healthcare or nursing home project experience preferred
- Experience working within a live HSE environment beneficial
- Strong understanding of internal finishes, M&E coordination and fire requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all first-fix and internal trades
- Coordinate internal partitions, M&E, fire requirements, plastering and associated works
- Oversee completion of 44 self-contained bedrooms and en-suites
- Manage communal areas including day rooms, dining areas, kitchen, corridors, toilets and nurse stations
- Coordinate subcontractors and maintain progress against programme
- Monitor quality of finishes and ensure works meet specification
- Maintain strong Health & Safety standards across the internal works package
- Work closely with the wider site and project management team through to completion
About You
