The Company
This established Irish main contractor has a strong track record delivering healthcare, commercial, education and public sector projects across Ireland. They are known for well-run sites, strong delivery teams and maintaining high standards of quality and finish.
With a solid pipeline of work across the region, they are now delivering a hospital fit out project in Co Kilkenny and are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to strengthen the site team.
The Role: Site Manager
This is a key Site Manager position overseeing fit out works on a hospital project in Co Kilkenny. You will take responsibility for day-to-day site operations, subcontractor coordination, programme delivery and quality finishes.
Working closely with the Project Manager, design team and specialist subcontractors, you will ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with programme. The healthcare environment means particular attention will be required around quality control, sequencing, coordination and maintaining a well-organised site.
Must Have Requirements:
About You
You will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in fit out, finishing or main contractor building projects. Previous experience managing subcontractors and driving works through the finishing stages is important.
You should be comfortable working to demanding programmes while maintaining close attention to quality and detail. Strong communication and organisation skills are required, particularly when coordinating multiple trades and specialist subcontractors on a healthcare project.

Must Have Requirements:
- Must have previous experience as a Site Manager, Finishing Manager or similar with a main contractor
- Proven fit out or finishing experience on building projects is required
- Must have strong subcontractor coordination and programme management experience
- Good working knowledge of Irish construction standards and health and safety requirements
- Healthcare or hospital project experience preferred
- Experience delivering high-specification fit out and finishing packages beneficial
- Experience using Procore, Dalux or similar construction management software beneficial
- Manage day-to-day site activities and ensure works progress in line with programme
- Coordinate fit out subcontractors, specialist trades and site resources
- Drive programme delivery and identify potential delays before they affect key milestones
- Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout the works
- Oversee quality control, inspections and snagging to achieve the required standard of finish
- Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, design team and subcontractors
- Review drawings and specifications and ensure works are completed accordingly
- Manage site logistics, materials and labour requirements
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and documentation
- Assist with handover, snagging and close-out of completed areas
