The Role - Site Manager
You will take full responsibility for managing a new school development in Co. Kildare. This is a key position on a live project where programme, quality, and safety are critical to successful delivery.
Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you will oversee all on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure the project is delivered on time and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all day-to-day site activities from groundworks through to completion
• Maintain strict health and safety standards across the project
• Manage and drive the construction programme to meet key milestones
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure efficient workflow on site
• Monitor quality control and ensure works meet specifications
• Manage site documentation including reports, RAMS, and progress tracking
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and design teams
• Ensure effective management of labour, plant, and materials
About You:
• Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor
• Experience delivering school, commercial, or large-scale building projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme delivery
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain quality standards
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and deadlines
• Relevant construction qualifications and site certifications
