The Role: Site Manager
This Site Manager role is based in the Netherlands, working on a major data centre fit out project.
You will take responsibility for day to day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades while ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Working closely with the Project Manager, engineering teams and subcontractors, you will be expected to drive progress on site, manage short term programmes and ensure fit out packages are completed correctly first time.
This is a hands on Site Manager position suited to someone comfortable working in a demanding data centre environment where programme, quality and coordination are critical.

You will be an experienced Site Manager with a practical understanding of managing trades and subcontractors in a busy site environment.
You should be comfortable driving programme delivery, identifying issues early and maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
Experience on data centres or specialist fit out projects would be particularly relevant. You will need strong communication and organisational skills and the ability to work effectively with project management, engineering and subcontractor teams.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have previous Site Manager or Site Supervisor experience on construction or fit out projects
- Proven experience required managing subcontractors and trades on site
- Must have a strong understanding of health and safety, quality control and programme delivery
- Experience working on large scale construction projects is required
Preferred Experience
- Data centre fit out experience preferred
- Previous experience working on European construction projects beneficial
- Experience with specialist fit out or mission critical projects advantageous
- Strong understanding of snagging, quality finishes and handover procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day to day site activities on the data centre fit out project
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and specialist packages
- Drive works in line with the construction programme and short term targets
- Maintain high health and safety standards throughout the site
- Monitor workmanship and ensure required quality finishes are achieved
- Manage snagging, inspections and close out of completed works
- Coordinate site logistics, labour, materials and access requirements
- Attend progress and coordination meetings with the wider project team
- Report progress, delays and site issues to the Project Manager
- Ensure drawings, specifications and project requirements are followed
- Work closely with engineering, quality and commercial teams throughout delivery
