The Company
A highly respected Irish main contractor with a strong track record of delivering large scale pharmaceutical, industrial and commercial construction projects across Ireland.
With a strong pipeline of work in Cork and the wider Munster region, this contractor is known for delivering technically demanding projects to high standards of safety, quality and programme delivery.
They are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee construction works on a €multi million pharmaceutical development in Cork.
The Role: Site Manager
This Site Manager position is based in Cork, working on a major pharmaceutical construction project with an experienced project team.
You will take responsibility for day to day site operations, managing subcontractors, coordinating construction activities and ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Working closely with the Project Manager, engineers and commercial team, you will play a key role in driving site progress, managing resources and maintaining high standards throughout the project.

About You
You are an experienced Site Manager with a strong main contractor background and a proven ability to deliver large scale construction projects.
You understand the importance of programme delivery, subcontractor management and quality control, particularly on technically demanding projects.
Experience in pharmaceutical or industrial construction would be beneficial, along with a practical approach to site management and the ability to coordinate multiple trades.
You will be confident managing site teams, resolving issues and maintaining progress while working closely with senior management.

The Role: Site Manager
This Site Manager position is based in Cork, working on a major pharmaceutical construction project with an experienced project team.
You will take responsibility for day to day site operations, managing subcontractors, coordinating construction activities and ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 5+ years' experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor.
- Proven experience delivering large scale commercial, industrial or pharmaceutical construction projects in Ireland.
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination and programme delivery.
- Experience managing site teams and maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations and ensure works progress in line with the construction programme.
- Coordinate subcontractors, site engineers and direct labour to maintain productivity.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety requirements.
- Oversee quality control, inspections and compliance with project specifications.
- Monitor site progress, identify potential delays and implement corrective measures.
- Coordinate materials, plant and labour requirements to support programme delivery.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, design team and commercial team on site progress.
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and subcontractor documentation.
