With a substantial pipeline of data centre developments, they are looking for an experienced Campus MV Commissioning Manager to oversee medium voltage commissioning activities across a major data centre campus in Dublin.

The Role: Campus MV Commissioning Manager
As Campus MV Commissioning Manager, you will take responsibility for planning, coordinating and managing medium voltage commissioning activities across a major data centre development in Dublin, Co Dublin.
Reporting to the Campus Commissioning Manager or Head of Commissioning, you will oversee MV Commissioning Engineers, specialist vendors and electrical subcontractors to ensure systems are tested, commissioned, energised and handed over safely and in line with programme.
This is a senior technical leadership position involving MV switchgear, transformers, protection systems, electrical distribution and energisation. You will work closely with the Energy Marshalling team, Authorised Persons, Electrical Engineers and QA/QC teams to coordinate commissioning activities across the campus.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced MV Commissioning Manager with a strong electrical engineering background and a proven track record managing medium voltage commissioning on technically demanding construction projects.
You should have detailed knowledge of MV electrical systems, protection equipment, switching procedures and safe energisation, together with the ability to manage specialist commissioning teams and vendors.
Previous data centre experience would be particularly beneficial, although candidates from large scale pharmaceutical, industrial, energy or critical infrastructure projects will also be considered.
Strong leadership, technical problem-solving and programme management skills are essential, along with the confidence to coordinate with senior project management and client representatives.

- Minimum 7 years' experience in electrical commissioning, including significant experience in a management or supervisory position
- Proven experience managing MV commissioning activities on large scale data centre, industrial or critical infrastructure projects
- Strong technical knowledge of MV switchgear, transformers, protection systems, electrical distribution and commissioning procedures
- Hands on experience coordinating MV switching, isolations, energisation and permit-to-work procedures
- Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification or Electrical Trade qualification with substantial commissioning experience
- Previous data centre or mission critical commissioning experience
- Experience with protection relay testing, primary and secondary injection testing and MV cable testing
- Knowledge of IEC 61850, GOOSE networking and protection and control systems
- Experience with generator MV distribution, UPS systems and EPMS/BMS/SCADA interfaces
- Lead and manage MV commissioning activities across assigned electrical systems and packages
- Develop and maintain the MV commissioning strategy, programme and key milestones
- Manage MV Commissioning Engineers, specialist vendors and electrical subcontractors
- Coordinate MV switching, isolations, energisation and permitting with the Energy Marshalling team and Authorised Persons
- Oversee commissioning of MV switchgear, transformers, protection relays, cabling and associated electrical distribution systems
- Review commissioning procedures, test scripts, method statements and technical documentation
- Coordinate factory acceptance testing, factory witness testing and specialist vendor testing activities
- Review protection relay settings, testing records and electrical schematics
- Monitor commissioning progress, identify programme risks and implement corrective actions
- Manage commissioning defects, technical issues and close-out procedures
- Coordinate functional testing, integrated systems testing and final energisation activities
- Ensure commissioning records, quality documentation and handover packs are completed to project requirements
