Based on a major data centre site in Germany, you’ll be responsible for managing and coordinating daily site activities related to deep excavation, drainage, ducting, concrete foundations, and infrastructure works. Working closely with the Site Engineer and Project Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of civil works on site, including groundwork, ducting, drainage, and concrete.
- Lead site teams and subcontractors, driving productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Interpret drawings and ensure accurate implementation of technical details.
- Liaise with engineers and site management to resolve issues and ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor materials, plant, and labour resources, reporting on daily progress.
- Promote a culture of Health & Safety, maintaining compliance with company and legal standards.
About You:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Civils Foreman or General Foreman role.
- Proven background in heavy civils, ideally on data centres, pharma, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site teams.
- Comfortable reading technical drawings and setting priorities to meet program deadlines.
- Health & Safety conscious with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
