You can lead by example under pressure, build trust across teams, and solve problems fast. You juggle priorities, make confident calls, and focus on delivering safe, reliable systems, not just ticking boxes.
As a Commissioning Manager, you will have solid experience across power generation, energy systems, or oil & gas. You'll be the one driving the commissioning process from start to finish, planning, managing people, solving problems on the fly, and making sure everything is handed over cleanly.
This is a full-time role based in Dublin. The team is growing, and so is the scale of the projects, hyperscale data centres, grid support plants, embedded renewables, and national utilities aiming for greener infrastructure.

Commissioning Manager Skills:
- A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering, or the equivalent on-the-ground experience.
- 10+ years leading commissioning teams and activities in Power, T&D, or Oil & Gas projects.
- Deep understanding of how electrical, controls, and mechanical systems come together, and how they fail.
- The ability to read a full set of technical drawings (SLDs, P&IDs, system layouts) and spot what’s missing or mismatched.
- Experience navigating complex commissioning environments — where safety, timelines, and budgets are all live pressures.
As a Commissioning Manager:
- Overseeing full commissioning across a range of systems, DCS/PLC control systems, gas turbines, HV/MV electrical systems, BOP equipment (fuel gas/oil, instrument air, demin, fire systems, HVAC, etc.).
- Planning and coordinating the entire commissioning phase, aligning with design, construction, and client teams to ensure smooth integration.
- Leading a multidisciplinary commissioning team, setting the standard, supporting them technically, and stepping in when issues arise.
- Managing commissioning schedules, tracking risks, and ensuring stakeholders are kept in the loop.
- Making sure commissioning is done safely, thoroughly, and according to spec.
- Delivering documentation, reports, and full handover support to the O&M teams.
- Keeping your head in the detail, but your eye on the bigger picture, commissioning is only successful when it delivers real reliability on Day One.
