Commissioning Manager - Leinster

You will have a strong background in MEP systems, ideally within industrial or data centre environments, and the leadership skills to manage diverse teams and subcontractors across multiple project sites in Leinster.

You will take ownership of the full commissioning process on high-profile construction projects across the Leinster region. Based out of Co. Kildare, you will manage and coordinate the commissioning of complex MEP systems on industrial, logistics, and mission-critical developments, ensuring seamless project delivery from pre-commissioning through to final handover.

Commissioning Manager Skills:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commissioning management within the construction industry.
• Previous experience working on large-scale industrial, logistics, or data centre projects is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, BMS controls, and commissioning processes.
• Familiarity with commissioning software tools and building management systems (BMS).
• Certifications such as Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or equivalent are advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams concurrently.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

As a Commissioning Manager:  

• Develop and implement detailed commissioning strategies, schedules, and procedures.
• Integrate commissioning plans with overall project delivery programs to ensure alignment with key milestones.
• Lead the commissioning of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, and BMS controls.
• Coordinate commissioning activities across multiple project sites in Leinster, ensuring resources and timelines are managed effectively.
• Oversee system performance testing, verification, and validation to ensure compliance with design specifications and operational requirements.
• Ensure all commissioning activities meet industry standards, health & safety regulations, and project-specific requirements.
• Manage the resolution of commissioning issues, defects, or deficiencies efficiently to maintain project timelines.
• Maintain thorough records of all commissioning activities, including test results, issue logs, and compliance certifications.
• Provide regular commissioning progress reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead, support, and mentor commissioning teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to drive high performance and successful project outcomes.

The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least to €100,000 plus package.
