Job title: Electrical Construction Manager – Data Centre Construction

This specialist engineering contractor is Europe's leading dedicated data centre delivery partner, providing full turnkey solutions from design and construction through to commissioning. With major hyperscale projects underway across Europe, the business continues to expand and is recognised for delivering some of the continent's most complex mission-critical developments.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a flagship data centre project in Sines, Portugal.
The Role: Electrical Construction Manager
Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of all electrical construction activities on site, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with project managers, engineers, planners, subcontractors and client representatives, you will coordinate electrical installation activities from planning through to commissioning and handover while driving programme, quality and safety across your area of responsibility.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Electrical Construction Manager with a proven ability to lead electrical packages on major construction projects. You are confident managing site teams, coordinating subcontractors and driving programme delivery while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Experience on data centre or other mission-critical developments would be highly advantageous, although candidates with strong commercial, industrial or pharmaceutical backgrounds will also be considered.

Must Have Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager or Senior Electrical Site Manager on large construction projects.
- Trade background or qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Construction.
- Strong knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems and construction sequencing.
- Experience managing electrical subcontractors on large-scale commercial, industrial or mission-critical projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Data centre, pharmaceutical or other mission-critical project experience.
- Experience managing fast-track construction programmes.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and commissioning activities.
- Commercial awareness with experience monitoring programme and project performance.
- Lead all electrical construction activities across the project.
- Develop and manage electrical construction programmes and resource plans.
- Coordinate subcontractors and monitor installation progress.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Manage project safety, quality and programme performance.
- Monitor project costs and support commercial reporting.
- Coordinate material procurement and equipment deliveries.
- Attend project meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and project teams.
- Support testing, commissioning and final handover activities.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation measures.
You are an experienced Electrical Construction Manager with a proven ability to lead electrical packages on major construction projects. You are confident managing site teams, coordinating subcontractors and driving programme delivery while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Experience on data centre or other mission-critical developments would be highly advantageous, although candidates with strong commercial, industrial or pharmaceutical backgrounds will also be considered.
