Electrical Engineers - HV/MV - Senior, Intermediate, Junior - Dublin

You are an Electrical Engineer with experience in HV/MV power infrastructure, looking to join a fast-growing engineering business delivering complex substation and grid projects across renewables, utilities, and energy networks.

Electrical Engineer Skills:

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
  
  
• Experience in HV/MV substation design (10kV–220kV)
  
  
• Ability to prepare substation layouts, elevations, and engineering drawings
  
  
• Understanding of protection and control schemes
  
  
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D and/or Eplan (desirable, not essential)
  
  
• Familiarity with ESB standards (advantageous but not compulsory)
  
  
• Strong technical documentation and report writing capability
  
  
• Safety-focused with a logical and structured engineering approach
  
  
• Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills
  
  
• Team-oriented, motivated, and capable of working independently
  
  

As an Electrical Engineer:

• Prepare HV/MV engineering drawings including substation layouts, elevations, and lightning protection zones
  
  
• Produce panel schematic drawings and detailed design documentation
  
  
• Design and develop protection and control schemes for power projects
  
  
• Prepare and review equipment specifications in line with project requirements
  
  
• Carry out technical evaluations of supplier and vendor equipment
  
  
• Produce technical reports and contribute to design deliverables
  
  
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and commissioning engineers
  
  
• Support projects through design, installation, and commissioning phases
  
  
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  
  
• Contribute to technical excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
