You are an Electrical Estimator with solid experience in contracting and a clear understanding of what it takes to deliver accurate, competitive tenders on complex projects based out of Co Meath or Co Mayo.
You’ll be joining a team that’s currently pricing work across data centres, life sciences, healthcare, and large-scale industrial builds, both in Ireland and internationally.
You’ll take the lead on tenders from start to finish, reviewing drawings and specs, preparing detailed take-offs, working with suppliers, submitting tenders, and supporting smooth handovers to operations.
This position has opened due to an internal promotion, so the systems are there, the expectations are clear, and you’ll have the support you need to hit the ground running.

Electrical Estimator Skills:
- At least 4 years’ estimating experience in the electrical contracting world.
- A third-level qualification in a relevant discipline.
- A solid background in electrical systems, with any instrumentation or BMS experience seen as a bonus (but not essential).
- Someone with an eye for detail, who thrives under deadlines and can manage multiple tenders efficiently.
- Strong communicator who works well on their own but also contributes to a wider team effort.
As an Electrical Estimator:
- Taking the lead on tendering for major projects in sectors like data centres, life sciences, pharma, and healthcare.
- Running the full tender process—from reviewing drawings and specs to final submission.
- Preparing accurate take-offs and estimates based on detailed project documentation.
- Liaising with trusted suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive rates.
- Reviewing tender packs and proposing value engineering options when relevant.
- Attending pre- and post-tender interviews, representing the commercial side with professionalism and clarity.
- Coordinating across departments to ensure tenders are submitted on time and to a high standard.
- Conducting thorough handovers to the delivery team when tenders are successful.
