You are an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in electrical contracting to support large-scale data projects across Ireland, UK & Europe.
This is a hands-on commercial role focused on cost control, contract administration, and financial reporting within high-spec, fast-paced environments.
Based out of Co Mayo or Co Meath you will work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to ensure commercial performance from pre-construction through to final account.
This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of your projects, driving accountability, accuracy, and delivery on technically demanding builds.
The role is best suited to someone with a strong understanding of electrical packages, experience on complex construction sites, and a proactive mindset when it comes to managing cost and risk.

Electrical Quantity Surveyor Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience in an Electrical QS role, ideally on large-scale industrial builds
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or Construction
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial frameworks
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and MS Projects
- Detail-oriented, commercially aware, and confident dealing with clients and suppliers
- Experience with electrical tenders and large subcontractor packages is a plus
As an Electrical Quantity Surveyor:
- Reviewing project contracts and scopes to ensure clear alignment from the outset
- Preparing supplier and subcontractor packages, pricing variations, and issuing valuations
- Managing monthly claims, tracking cost movements, and forecasting cash flow
- Maintaining commercial and contractual control of all subcontractor accounts
- Compiling project reports and advising senior management on cost, risk, and change
- Ensuring strong cost records, retention tracking, and commercial documentation throughout
